Bosch Projects was pleased to be invited to assist with training during the March 2026 process training course hosted at the SASA Ushukela Training Center in Mount Edgecombe, Durban. The programme brought together 11 learners from seven sugar mills across South Africa and Eswatini, providing a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing and skills development within the regional sugar industry.

The training covered a range of key process topics using Bosch Projects equipment, including batch and continuous pan boiling, optimised continuous pan boiling, crystallisers and reheaters, and dimple tube technology.

To support the theoretical sessions, Bosch Projects supplemented the presentations with physical equipment models, including a long tube evaporator, a split continuous pan, and a reheater, as well as an example of our dimple tube. These hands-on tools sparked strong engagement and discussion, particularly among participants already operating Bosch Projects equipment at their respective factories.

We were also excited to see Ubombo currently installing a Bosch Projects CVP and already using dimple tubes with excellent results and feedback, reinforcing the practical relevance of the training.
