Project Description:

Bosch Projects Equipment was awarded the contract to design and supply multiple vessels and process plant into the Illovo Nakambala Product Alignment and Refinery Project.

The project will not only expand the raw house production capacity, it will also see the installation of a new state of the art modern and efficient sugar refinery, sugar conditioning plant and new pack house.

The major new items designed and supplied by Bosch Projects Equipment include:

Continuous Vacuum Pan “A”
Clear Juice Heaters
Vacuum Seed Receiver
Condensate Flash Vessels
Condenser
Rotary Juice Screens
Clarifiers
Evaporators
Sugar Conditioning Silo

All equipment was designed by Bosch Projects at the head office in Umhlanga, fabricated in Durban and transported up to Nakambala, Zambia by truck, where erection and site installation is well underway. Majority of the equipment has been delivered to site in its completed form with only the Silo, CVP, Press water clarifier and Refinery Evaporator being sent in broken down form for ease of transport and lifting into position.
