Fumba Town is the first major real estate development in Zanzibar. The project is located just south of the International Airport of Zanzibar on the Fumba Peninsula, and comprises an area of 150 acres with a 1,5 km sea front.  

Services Provided:

• Master planning, design and implementation of the entire civil and electrical bulk infrastructure
• Water abstraction via boreholes and related storage
• 2Mℓ waste water treatment works
• Road network
• Regenerating subterranean water lenses within the island’s sub-structure

Provide state-of-art infrastructure in a modern, secure environment, which still provides affordable living whilst integrating business, recreational, health and educational facilities and developments.

Overall features of this project: Fumba Town is the first fully sustainable new urban development project based on permaculture concepts. It is state-of-art infrastructure in a modern, secure environment, which still provides affordable living whilst integrating business, recreational, health and educational facilities and developments. Fumba Town is currently the fastest selling real estate development in Tanzania with more than 1000 housing units sold. The project is developed in three phases creating more than 2,000 residential units and more than 250,000 sqm of mixed used and commercial space.
