Project Scope:

Construction of a new 3-storey office building for the Commerce, Law and Management (CLM) faculty at Wits University’s West Campus in Braamfontein.

Features:

• The new building is located on an existing parking area underlain by relatively poor insitu material and solid waste in places. Foundations comprise friction piles of 450mm and 600mm diameter to an average depth of 9m.
• Office building of 3,100m2 – Three-storey reinforced concrete frame with concrete roof and a structural steel supported glass roof section.

Project Value: R 76,400,000.
