Simunye Phase 2 Expansion

Project Scope:
In August 1998 Bosch Projects were awarded the Engineering and Management contract for the expansion of the Simunye Sugar Mill from 320 TCH to 400 TCH over two off-crops for completion by April 2000. The Project team successfully completed both phases of the Project within budget on schedule and to the required specifications that resulted in the Client, Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation, being able to commission the Mill at the start of the offcrop period and achieve the increased target production figures that were forecast.

Phase 2 Project work included extensive front and back end modifications to the mill and was successfully completed within the R55m budget, on schedule and to the required specifications by April 2000 as follows:
