Project Scope:
Bosch Projects were engaged by the Client to establish best practices for bagasse cogeneration efficiency, flexibility and economic viability through desktop research on recent cogeneration investments, engagement with mills and suppliers to assess applicability in the Australian context, and a concept study on the upgrades and implementation schedule needed for high-efficiency, flexible cogeneration solutions.

Tully Sugar also identified a strategic need to increase their factory capacity given the potential increase in cane tonnages expected into the future. The scope of the project was to provide a conceptual study and order of magnitude cost estimate for the proposed factory capacity increase. This project ran in conjunction with the energy efficiency roadmap project as they are interrelated.
